Reprobates

I wanted to write this one to explore my thoughts on organized religion and moral philosophy. It's heavily inspired by NBC's The Good Place and Dante's Divine Comedy, among others. The premise is a group of seven people living in an oppressive theocracy die and go to hell, and in doing so discover that their fascist government is actually doing a really good job of interpreting the word of god. The group journeys through hell in the hopes of ascending through purgatory and into heaven so they can personally ask god who the fuck he thinks he is.

Characters

Each character is based on one of the seven deadly sins, as they're each branded and categorized within hell for the specific sins they've committed the most. That being said, I have fleshed out backstories in mind for each character, so they won't just be their sin. That being said, I wanted to name each one after the sin they're accused of anyway, but I wanted them to be somewhat unconventional synonyms for the usual list of 'Pride', 'Wrath', 'Sloth', and the others that everyone's heard a thousand times. You'll know what I mean when I get around to adding individual character descriptions some time in the next few days.
